The Street Division at Bensenville is responsible for the repair and minor reconstruction of all Village streets, sidewalks, alleys, curbs and parking lots. The division also maintains the street lighting and signage for all Village roadways.
Some streetlights within the Village are maintained by ComEd. To know the difference, just look at the material of the pole the light is on. If the pole is made of wood, the light belongs to ComEd. All other materials: metal, plastic or concrete are Village controlled lights.
