Join Bensenville public works for a unique experience allowing you to get a behind-the-scenes look at the skills, tools and equipment required to maintain the village's infrastructure.
At this family fun-filled event, you can participate in activities and visit booths about forestry, streets, water, fleet and building services, wastewater, stormwater, engineering and emergency management. You will have the opportunity to meet the people who keep Bensenville a safe, and beautiful community.

• "PAWS"THE APWA MASCOT
• DUCK RACES
• INFORMATIONAL BOOTHS
• FREE GIVEAWAYS

10 -NOON: PAPER SHREDDING EVENT (ON-SITE) -The Village and DuPage County will host a paper shredding event at the Public Works Facility. Residents may bring up to 2 banker boxes of paper for shredding, NO binders. Persons should stay in the vehicle.
EVERY½ HOUR: WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT TOURS -25 minute tours of our $30 million Plant upgrade
11 AM: ARBOR DAY CEREMONY WITH TREE PLANTING
