During week of 10-2-17, Weather permitting, the underground contractor will finish watermain installation early next week. The contractor also plans to fill/flush, pressure test and chlorinate the section of watermain from just north of Memorial to Jefferson St. The contractor also plan to begin transferring individual services to the new watermain from Grove to Timber Lane. A boring crew will be utilized to bore services under the roadway which can cause traffic delays. It is best to avoid the construction zone. At this time, water shutdowns are anticipated next week. Impacted residents will be notified of shutdowns in advance.
