Notice of Passing of Fire Chief Willard (Willie) Schoppe (Retired)
The members of Bensenville Fire Protection District #2 regret to inform the Fire Service Family of the passing of Bensenville Fire Department’s retired Fire Chief Willie Schoppe. Chief Schoppe on the evening of February 18, 2018 passed away peacefully in the comfort of his family surrounding him. Chief Schoppe faithfully and unselfishly served the Bensenville Community from 1957 until his retirement in 1994. During the years of 1982 to 1993 serving as the head of the Bensenville Fire Department.
