The community is invited to the Mohawk School Surplus Sale from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 9 at the school, 917 W. Hillside Drive, Bensenville.
Desks, file cabinets, books cases and miscellaneous furniture will be among the surplus items for sale.
All items are cash and carry. No checks or credit cards.
Proceeds will benefit the Mohawk/Johnson Schools legacy project. The legacy project will involve parents and students in creating a public art project to commemorate the opening of the new school and honoring the history of Mohawk and Johnson.
