October 23-31, 2013- The Bensenville Police Department will be participating in the Red Ribbon Week event. This event has three parts:
1) The Community Oriented Police Division will go to the middle and High School to give out wristbands that say “I’m Drug Free.”
2) Some of the grade schools will also participate in the program. Wristbands and visits during that week will take place by the Community Oriented Police Division.
3) Parents in your households are encouraged to talk to their children about the dangers of drugs.
A Bonfire event at Redmond Park is scheduled for Friday, October 25, 2013. 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The entire community is invited to attend.
The Police Department will serve apple cider. The Bensenville Fire Department and the Bensenville Emergency Management will be there as well!! No RSVP is necessary.
