On Thursday, October 17, 2013, O’Hare International Airport opened new Runway 10C/28C, which is the southernmost east-west configured runway at this time. Runway 10C/28C is aligned near the intersection of Gateway Road and York Road in Bensenville.
Complaints about aircraft noise, low flying aircraft, frequency of aircraft operations, or vibration of structures should be made to the O’Hare Noise Compatibility Commission (ONCC) by calling their Hotline at 1-800-435-9569 or visiting their website at:

When logging a complaint, be sure to note the date, time, flight path, type of aircraft, the impact you are experiencing, your address, and your contact information. Your complaint will be submitted to the City of Chicago’s Department of Aviation for tracking purposes only and will be included as data in the Airport Noise Management System’s reports. The next public meeting of the ONCC is scheduled at 8:00AM on Friday, November 1, 2013 at Rosewood Banquets, 9421 W. Higgins Road, Rosemont, IL.
