Construction Alert: IL-19 Watermain and Culvert Replacement.
The Village of Bensenville in conjunction with John Neri Construction is tentatively scheduled to begin construction on September 22, 2014 for the watermain and culvert replacement project along Irving Park Rd (IL-19) between Eastview Dr and Church Rd. The completion date for this project is October 31, 2014. The watermain installation will take place between Eastview Dr and Church Rd while the culvert replacement will take place under Parkside Lane. The work along IL – 19 will be performed under daily lane closures on Irving Park Road from 9 am to 4:30 pm in the eastbound directions. The lane closures in the westbound directions will be limited from 9 am to 3 pm. Eastview Dr will closed at IL-19 during watermain installation while Parkside Lane will be closed at IL-19 during the culvert installation. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes as extremely long traffic delays are expected during this project.
