Free Mulch Delivery (May 12-16, 2025)
The Village is proud to offer its residents a free mulch delivery this Spring! Please fill out this application and sign the waiver form to secure your place on the list. Public Works staff will be making deliveries to the first 100 households.
Terms of the Application
- This is a free of charge service to incorporated Residents only (no businesses).
- The Resident MUST fill out this application and sign the waiver form to register for a delivery.
- Completed application & waiver form MUST be submitted by May 1, 2025 (Thursday).
- Dates of Delivery: May 12 through 16 (Monday through Friday) between 8am and 3pm.
- This is not an on-call service. The deliveries will be made by the most expeditious and efficient route possible.
- One delivery per household.
- Mulch will be delivered on paved surfaces only.
- Mulch is delivered in bulk (not in bags).
- The application must be submitted to the Public Works Department (717 E. Jefferson Street) or the Village Hall (12 S. Center Street).
Confirmation Process
- All applicants will receive a confirmation email no later than May 7, 2025.
- All applicants must respond to said email to confirm their placement in the delivery program.
Delivery Process
- On designated day of delivery, residents will receive a call from the delivery driver stating they are in route to their residence. If the call is not answered, the driver will attempt to make contact at the residence in person.
- The delivery will only be completed upon day-of contact with Resident.
- On day of delivery, if there is any obstruction in the drop off area (parked vehicle, garbage cans) delivery of the mulch may be suspended.
SELF-SERVE
A concrete mulch bin is located in the northeast corner of the Public Works Facility parking lot and is available 7 days a week. Residents are responsible for loading mulch and bringing their own containers, shovels, and transportation. The property is under surveillance – please be respectful of other residents and the Public Works Facility.
