Product Used
We utilize the broad-spectrum herbicide RoundUp (N-(phosphonomethyl)glycine). Applied diluted at 2 oz per gallon.
Public Safety
RoundUp is an EPA-registered herbicide and can be safely applied in residential areas. Residents may remain outside during application, as there is no special safety precautions required according to the product labels.
Please note that in certain emergency situations, such as disease threats or natural disaster recovery efforts, advance notice requirements may be waived. This includes responses to:
- Disease-causing agents in mosquito populations
- Mosquito-borne diseases affecting humans or animals
- Natural disaster recovery situations
