The Village has contracted with Corrective Asphalt Materials (CAM LLC) to perform pavement rejuvenation on newly paved streets, and the work beginning on Monday May 13. An application of Reclamite will be applied to roads the Village has repaved over the 2022 and 2023 construction seasons. This operation is very weather dependent, so if there is wet pavement or chance of rain then the operation will be delayed. Letters were distributed to homeowners impacted.
The roadway will remain open during the work, as this is a moving operation. The material they spray will have sand spread on top of it while it cures, and traffic will be able to drive on the sand once placed. The sand will be swept up the following day once the product is fully cured. If material is tracked onto driveways, it will naturally fade over a few weeks.
